Alphatography began as a kernel of an idea in a University Photography 101 course and for several years was simply a fun project I would work up for anniversary and wedding gifts. At the urging of several of these gift recipients, we finally decided to start spreading Alphatography love to the general public, hence this lovely website. Since that first photography course in 2002, we have been collecting letter photographs wherever we may be. Alphatography now boasts unique photographs from across the United States and all around the world. Alphatography continues to evolve as we explore new ideas and places and we hope that our inspiration leads you to finding a piece of artwork that will also inspire you. (or at least one that will make you smile.)
